Sadly, due to some major logistics problems beyond our control, we are forced to postpone the live NewSpace BPC and Entrepreneurial Bootcamp event, originally scheduled for the end of this month at the International Astronautical Congress in Dubai. Instead, we are moving the event to the 2022 IAC, to be held in Paris, in late September. Stay tuned for updates and announcements regarding this.
However, the next All-Virtual BPC event, in association with Foundation for the Future, is still on track to be held November 10th, with a $5000 Grand Prize. Applications for that event have been extended to October 20th, with the Finalist announcements shortly after. Get your applications in now!

After two great NewSpace BPC events in May and August, The Center is doubling down, with the announcement of not one, but TWO Business Plan Competition events, in October and November. And applications are open…TODAY.
In October, the Center for Space Commerce and Finance, in conjunction with the 2021 International Astronautical Congress, being held in Dubai, UAE, will host the first LIVE ON STAGE NewSpace Business Plan Competition and Entrepreneurial Bootcamp in nearly two years. If you and/or your startup company are planning on attending the IAC, October 25-29, we highly encourage you to apply to present in this first-of-its-kind international event. The prize list is growing, and will be formally announced in a separate post, very soon.
As stated above, and just like all previous “Live on stage” events, The Center will be hosting, in conjunction with some great sponsors and the assist of the Entrepreneurship and Investment Committee for IAC, a two-day “Bootcamp” where Finalists can interact with professionals in venture finance, and business planning and development, and get amazing coaching from those with solid real-world experience building and prospering with space-sector startups.
November 10, 2021, The Center for Space Commerce and Finance, in association with Foundation for the Future, announces the third in a series of NewSpace Business Plan Competition events, to be held as part of the “Conversations for the Future” series of virtual conferences. There will be a $5000 Grand Prize awarded, thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Foundation for the Future, who also host the “Conversations…” series of online events.
Our competition, as it has done since 2011, offers an outstanding opportunity for promising startups in the space, space-related, or space-scalable areas, to get valuable exposure to potential investors, customers, and strategic partners.
Nearly $400,000 has been awarded over the years to 20 unique companies, and the future promises to be even brighter.
Our success with the first All-Virtual events in May and August showed we are still the “Must do” competition for this industry, due to the wealth of our connections and hands-on training that we offer.
For the November event, between October 20 and November 9, Finalists will participate in at least two 1-hour Coaching sessions with our outstanding team of coaches, who are leaders in business planning, entrepreneurship, and pitching companies to potential investors.

Finalists will be announced October 19th.
